Obituary of Troy Kenneth Blair
It is with deep sorrow and profound sadness that we announce the passing of Troy Kenneth Blair, age 61, who left us on June 21st, 2024.
Devoted family man, Troy’s greatest joy came from his family. He leaves behind his beloved wife Robin (Perry) Blair and sons Kenneth, Stephen and Matthew Blair. Cherished poppa to Lily & Rose Blair.
Troy is also survived by siblings Tina Blair (Mike Harper), Roxanne Major (Fred) and beloved nephew Jerry Sicard as other numerous nieces and nephews. Troy is predeceased by his parents Dorothy (Bough) and Eddy Blair, siblings Donnie Blair and Gloria (Jerry Sicard Sr.), nephew Wayne Sicard and his in-laws Marjorie and Ken Perry.
Troy and his family were the proud owners of the first Habitat for Humanity home in Brockville in 1999. He was also a devoted fan of the Montreal Canadians. Troy loved fishing, wrestling, country music and spending time with his family especially the time he spent with his pride and joy, his granddaughter Lily.
The family wishes to extend their heartfelt thanks for the Palliative Care Program and the staff at the Brockville General Hospital for their care and compassion for Troy.
Family and friends will be received at the Barclay Funeral Home, 137 Pearl Street East, Brockville, on Saturday June 29, 2024, from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m. In memory of Troy, donations to the Brockville and District Hospital Foundation – Palliative Care or the Alzheimer’s Society of Lanark Leeds and Grenville would be gratefully acknowledged by the family.
