Shirley Jean Dillabough entered into rest at the St Lawrence Lodge on Wednesday, June 19 2024 at the age of 90 years. Beloved aunt to Bill Shipman (Mary), Ryan and Casey. Stepmother to Carol Dillabough, Arnold Dillabough (Rina), Sandra Tackaberry (Wayne) and Lynn (Wanda) Dillabough and families. Also survived by brother Reginald Shipman (Nan), brother-in-law Bill Mitchell and several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her husband Ken Dillabough, her siblings Helen Flint (Douglas deceased), Earl Shipman (June), Robert (Jr) Shipman, Borden (Bud) Shipman, Yvonne McKee (Leo deceased), Delrena Mitchell (Bill), Albert Shipman and Mary in infancy as well as her parents Mae and Roosevelt Shipman.
Family and friends are invited to the Irvine Funeral Home and Chapel, 4 James St., E., on Friday, June 28th from 12 pm until 1 pm. followed by a service in the Chapel. Interment will be at Oakland Cemetery. Memorial donations to The Leeds and Grenville Alzheimer’s Society or the St. Lawrence Lodge will be greatly appreciated by the family.
