CESANEK, Frances Ruth (Lawrence)
Passed away peacefully but unexpectedly on Tuesday, June 11, 2024, at Meadow Park Long Term Care Residence, London.
Frances (fondly known as Fran/ Frannie) was born 89 years ago in Galt, Ontario, a daughter of the late Francis and Beatrice (Williams) Lawrence.
Fran is reunited with her beloved husband Robert Cesanek who pre deceased her on August 24, 2023, and with whom she cherished 69 years of marriage. Loving mother of Bob (Sharon) and Larry (Mary Ellen). Proud grandmother of Kate, Kristen, Sarah & Nick. She is also survived by her 9 wonderful great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Fran had a long successful career in banking, along with her husband, and many wonderful retirement years. She loved to travel, loved to sing and dance, any kind of music, a good rum and coke, and story telling, of which there were many that kept us all in stitches.
We will miss her infectious laugh, her unique but signature hair style, and her spirit, which even MeadowPark residence recognized, awarding her the “life of the party” award.
At her request, cremation has taken place and no formal service will be held.
As expressions of sympathy, donations would be accepted to Heart & Stroke Foundation or Canadian Cancer Society and can be done through the funeral home.
