Theresa passed from this life into the arms of her Saviour with her family nearby on June 16, 2024, at the age of 89. She was the daughter of the late Leo and Lily (Emery) Durocher. She was the cherished spouse of Emile Joseph Clermont, who passed away in 2009. Theresa was a devoted mom to Michael Clermont (Sherri), Evelyn Blair (Leonard), Monica Tunks (Tom), Eileen Lachance (Ron), and Lauren/Ruth Oliver (Tim).
Cherished grandma of Joelle, Mitchell, Nicole, Jacob, Raymond, Rachelle, Seth, Alec, Leslie, Holly, David, Christian, Steven, Bobby, Tasha and the late Benjamin. Great grandma of David, Tyler, Elizabeth, Emily, Peyton, Caleb, Gabriel, Evan, Kennedy, Ellie, Avery, Eddy, and Poppy.
Sister of Rose Marie LaPierre (late Bernard), Donald Durocher (Shelley), and the late Robert Durocher. Special aunt to Brien Clermont. God mother of Ken Durocher and Danielle Chauvin. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Theresa was an active member of Holy Name of Jesus Church and St. Mary’s Parish. She was part of the Altar Society at St. Mary’s and belonged to the CWL at Holy Name of Jesus. Theresa also faithfully sang in the Choir at both churches.
Theresa is resting at the Kennedy Funeral Home Ltd. (519-776-7378) 128 Talbot St. North, Es on Friday, June 21, 2024, from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Parish and CWL Prayers will take place at 7:30 p.m. The funeral mass will be celebrated at the Holy Name of Jesus Parish on Saturday at 11 a.m. Visitation begins at 10 a.m. at the church. Interment to follow at Greenlawn Memorial Gardens. Donations may be made to Hospice of Windsor & Es County, Lupus Ontario, or the Es Area Foodbank.
