HIEMSTRA: Christine (nee Feyen) – passed away peacefully on Monday, June 17, 2024 at the Woodstock Hospital. Christine Hiemstra of Woodstock and formerly of RR#1 Bright in her 78th year.
Beloved wife of John Hiemstra who he married December 23, 1967. Loving mother of Melissa Hiemstra of London, Mark & Kristyn Hiemstra of Waterloo, Julie & Ron Whittal of Hickson, Kathryn & Goran Predojevic of Brantford and Joyce Hiemstra and Chris Winger of London. Sadly missed by her 21 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. Survived by her sister Jane McBurney of Norwich.
Predeceased by her parents Case & Reta (Reiber) Feyen, granddaughter Evelyn Hope Hiemstra, brothers Albert Feyen and Robert & Irene Feyen.
Relatives and friends will be received in the Glendinning Funeral Home, 40 William St. N. Plattsville on Thursday from 2-4 and 6:30-8:30pm. Private family interment will take place in Chesterfield Cemetery prior to the service. Memorial Service will be conducted in the Plattsville Missionary Church on Friday, June 21, 2024 at 11:00am. Reception to follow.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Plattsville Missionary Church would be appreciated by the family. Personal condolences can be posted at www.gffh.ca
