It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Jean Dippelhofer (nee Peloso), on June 13th, 2024. Jean was born in Guelph, ON in 1935 and was a proud member of the Peloso family. Jean will be dearly missed by her husband and wonderful life partner Ray (Rainer), her son Tom, her cherished grandchildren Ava and Emily, and her daughter-in-law Julie.
Jean’s laughter and quick wit will be missed by all. Jean was the 7th child of 8 brothers and sisters and she loved them all along with her many nieces and nephews. She is fondly remembered by her brother Hugh (Audrey), sister Nora (late Frank Michelucci), and sister-in-law Barbara (late Peter). Jean is predeceased by her parents Gerunsio and Angelina (Ghegin), her brother Sev and sister-in-law Lorraine (Tremblay), sister Hiole, brother Dino and sister-in-law Donna (Worron), and sister Rosanne and brother-in-law Joe Mills. Jean was a dedicated, talented, and organized teacher. After retirement, she enjoyed her years working part time at The Bay in Sherway Gardens. Jean and Ray established a beautiful life in Mississauga and enjoyed many years of travel and visits to Ray’s home in Germany.
Friends may call at the Turner & Porter “Peel” Chapel, 2180 Hurontario Street, Mississauga (HWY 10 N. of QEW) on Thursday, June 20, 2024 from 10:30-11:30 AM. Funeral Mass will be held at St. Dominic’s Catholic Church, 625 Atwater Ave, Mississauga, on Thursday, June 20, 2024 at 12 PM.
