EAGLESHAM, Josephine Agnes “Josie”

Peacefully at the H. J. McFarland Memorial Home, Picton, on Thursday, June 13, 2024, Josie Eaglesham (nee Boucher) of Picton, formerly of Cherry Valley and Montreal, died at the age of 102. Daughter of the late Hector Boucher & Elsie (nee Bennett) and wife of the late Jack. Loved mother of Harry (Lorraine) of Unionville, Brian of Montreal and Heather of Picton. Dear foster mother of late Pat Brown (surviving Georgette) of Montreal, Tammy Dehon of Marmora and Vera Dehon of Campbellford. Predeceased by her brothers and sisters. Fondly remembered by her many other relatives and friends.
Josie was well known in the County for her extensive volunteering including the Hospital Auxiliary and the Cherry Valley Women’s Institute.
Mrs. Eaglesham rested at Rushnell Funeral Homes – Picton Chapel, 33 Main Street, Picton (613-476-2450). In keeping with Josie’s wishes, no visitation or services at this time. Cremation has taken place. A Private Family Gathering will be held at a later date. If desired, donations to the Prince Edward County Memorial Hospital Auxiliary would be appreciated by the family.
