Peacefully on June 11, 2024 at the age of 81, with loving family by her side. Dear mother of Donna Grandmaison, Lee Grandmaison, Tammy Noviss, Sherri Ross (John), Cindy Magee (Mike). Much loved Nana of Lisa, Shawn, Steven, Michael, Sheena, Sonya, Sabrina, Lee Jr., Krystal, Catherine, Michael, James, Sydney, Dwayne, Taylor, Drake, Dakota, and Montanna. Also survived by 9 great-grandchildren and 1 on the way. Sister of Barbara Gawne (the late Harry) and predeceased by Kenneth Grandmaison (survived by Bonita). Aunt of several nieces, and nephews.
Carol volunteered for over 20 years at Brentwood Recovery Home. In her spare time, she enjoyed playing bingo and slot machines. Her Grand-daughter Sydney held a special place in her heart, and she spent many hours acting silly and crazy dancing with her. She will forever be “Nana Banana”.
If you so desire, donations to John McGivney Children’s Centre or Brentwood Recovery Home would be appreciated by the family. Visitation Tuesday, June 18, 2024 from 5:00 p.m.-8:00 p.m.
A celebration of Carol’s life will take place on Wednesday, June 19, 2024 at 11:30 a.m. at Families First, South Windsor, 3260 Dougall Ave. (519-969-5841).
