COOK, Judith Rachel
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Judith Rachel Cook which occurred on Monday, June 10, 2024, at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born 1963, she was a daughter of the late Robert and Patricia (Worden) Cook.
Judy’s life was marked by a remarkable career and personal journey. She spent many years working as a waitress, before dedicating her time to raising her daughter as a devoted stay-at-home mom. Later, she joined Olsen’s Meat and Produce, where she remained until her retirement.
Throughout her life, Judy was known for her warm and affectionate nature, making her an unforgettable presence in the lives of all who knew her.
She will be deeply missed by those who had the privilege of knowing her.
Judy is survived by her daughter Jillian Green (Noah Davis) along with her stepdaughters Kelly Patterson and Kalyn (Scott) Wickens, siblings Bob Cook (Carolyn), Paul Cook (Dixie), Philip Cook (Ida), Sharon Brown (Lloyd), Heather Bennett and Nora Goldsworthy (Stephen) along with sister in-law Sheila Green and many nieces, nephews and friends.
In addition to her parents, Judy was predeceased by her partner Ian Green along with siblings; Pearl (Cookie) Kyle, Geraldine (Deena) Sproul, John Cook and Patricia Nice.
A service to celebrate Judy’s life will be held on Saturday, June 15th at 2:00 PM from the Fundy Funeral Home Chapel, 230 Westmorland Road (506)-646-2424.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations towards the S.P.C.A would be greatly appreciated.
