It is with profound sadness that the family of Shelagh Diane Dudley announces her passing on June 5, 2024, at Bluewater Health. Shelagh was born in Sarnia to Robert and Mary Dudley on March 9, 1963. She was the proud and loving mother of Alexander and Jamie Lambkin. She was the dearly loved sister of Jane, Moira and Jim Dudley. Shelagh will also be missed by Moira’s husband, Martin Kitamura, and Jim’s partner, Liz Dawson, as well as by her nephews Eric Aubry, Nathan Kitamura, and Thomas and Evan Dudley and by her niece, Kristen Kitamura.
Shelagh enjoyed life to the fullest. Her family and countless friends will greatly miss her enthusiasm for living, her infectious laugh and her off-key singing.
Shelagh enjoyed spending sunny days at the beach and going on frequent shopping sprees. She lovingly dedicated herself to cherishing precious moments with her adored sons and beloved pets.
A celebration of Shelagh’s life will be held on Sunday, June 16, 2024 at Smith Funeral Home,1576 London Line, Sarnia, Ontario, beginning at 12:00 p.m. The family will begin receiving visitors at 11:00 a.m. A reception will follow the celebration. Those wishing to make a donation in Shelagh’s memory are asked to consider Sarnia and District Humane Society (cheques only at the funeral home, please).
