July 29th, 1962 – June 5th, 2024
It is with great sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of our Teresa (Maria Teresa Tambeau) at age 61 on Wednesday, June 5th, 2024.
She was surrounded by family at home as she took her final breaths before reuniting with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. We know she is dancing in heaven with Jesus, experiencing His endless love.
Teresa’s beautiful loving presence will be remembered for years to come by all those fortunate enough to have crossed her path. Teresa shared her wisdom, accepted us as we were, always made us smile, and never asked for anything in return. Teresa’s light has forever changed each one of us and lives on in our hearts.
She was predeceased by her father and mother Rosa and Bruno Bellissimo.
Teresa was the loved wife of Dan Tambeau, married June 1st, 1985. Loving mother to Jennifer Tambeau (Samuel Boakye) and Melissa (Ian) Clunies. And proud Nonna to Kyle Tambeau, Landon Tambeau, Zendaya Boakye, and Raegan Clunies.
She is the cherished daughter-in-law of Marie-Anne Bernard. Dear sister of Connie (Bruno) Santaguida and Anna Bellissimo. Sister-in-law of Lil Tambeau (Gregg Snyder) and Chantal Tambeau.
Teresa will be fondly remembered by her nieces and nephews, sisters and brothers through Christ, and many friends.
A visitation will be held on Sunday June 9th at Drury Funeral Centre 519 Victoria St. E., Alliston from 3-6pm. The funeral service will be at Hiway Church 50 Anne St. N., Barrie on Monday June 10th at 11am, reception to follow.
The family wishes for memorial contributions to be directed to Breast Cancer Canada for research or S.H.I.F.T. (Support and Hope for Individuals and Families Today) in South Simcoe.
