JENKINS, Larry (Long Time Tool and Die Maker, General Motor’s): Peacefully at Peterborough Regional Health Centre on Tuesday, June 4, 2024 in his 75th year. Larry, beloved husband of 46 years to Beatrice (nee Mills). Lovign and devoted father of Meredith Jenkins-Gass (Scott), and Brennen (Filisha). Cherished Grandfather of Tysen, Levi, Maxim, and Surin. Dear brother of Lorraine Fry, the late Lorne, (Brenda9, predeceased), the late Leslie, Lloyd (Darlene), Lyle, Leon (Wanda), and Lorrie Jenkins. Brother-in-law of Gail Cole, and Florence Ross. Remembered lovingly by his nieces and nephews; Tanya, Bradley, Michael; Jarid, Matthew, and Jenelle. Son of the late Ken Jenkins and Dorothy Johnston. Larry was called Smiley particularly by staff at St. Joseph’s at Fleming. He as the most positive man you would ever meet. He was kind and content and never said a bad word about anyone. Larry loved from the heart and would help anyone in need of a helping hand. He loved the outdoors, he was a farmer and often helped his dad on the farm and would help cut wood at his daughters home. He will be greatly missed. Relatives and friends are invited to attend Larry’s Graveside Service in Rosemount Memorial Gardens on Saturday, September 21st at 11:00am followed by a light luncheon in Highland Park Funeral Centre.
