La famille annonce avec tristesse son décès le mardi 4 juin 2024 à l’Hôpital de Timmins et du district à l’âge de 88 ans. Michel fût prédécédé par ses parents Ernest et Jeanne Lepine, ses frères Guy Lepine (feue Roberte), Robert Lepine (feue Françoise) et Jean Marc (John) Lepine ainsi que par son petit-fils Eric Lepine.
Il manquera énormément à ses enfants Lise Gagnon (Dave), Sylvie McIlwain et Andre Lepine (Cezarina), ses petits-enfants Kayli, Patrick, Melissa, David, Danielle, Olivia, Nicole et Andrew, ainsi que ses arrière-petits-enfants Jack et Felix. Il est aussi survécu par la mère de ses enfants, Helene Lepine.
Michel a travaillé dans les mines pendant la majorité de sa vie. Une fois à la retraite, il a fait du bénévolat en tant que chauffeur pour la Société du cancer pendant plusieurs années ainsi que pour la Ville de Timmins.
La famille recevra les condoléances le samedi 8 juin 2024 de 10h30 jusqu’au début de la messe de funérailles à 11h à la Paroisse St-Dominique. The family announces with sorrow his death on Tuesday June 4th, 2024 at the Timmins and District Hospital at the age of 88. Michel is predeceased by his parents Ernest and Jeanne Lepine and by his brothers Guy Lepine (late Roberte), Robert Lepine (late Francoise), and Jean Marc (John) Lepine (late Therese) as well as his grandson Eric Lepine.
He will be greatly missed by his children Lise Gagnon (Dave), Sylvie McIlwain, Andre Lepine (Cezarina) as well as his grandchildren, Kayli, Patrick, Melissa, David, Danielle, Olivia, Nicole and Andrew and his great grandchildren Jack and Felix. He is also survived by the mother of his children Helene Lepine.
Michel worked in the mines most of his life once retired he liked to stay busy and volunteered as a driver for the Cancer Society for many years as well as the City of Timmins.
The family will receive friends on Saturday June 8, 2024 from 10:30 am until funeral mass at 11am at St-Dominique Church. Interment will follow at the Timmins Memorial Cemetery.
