He will be sadly missed by all the extended family of in-laws (Mary Loyson), nieces, nephews, and cousins, in Canada, South Africa, Australia, China and Malaysia.
Norman was born in Port Elizabeth, South Africa to Q Siong and Liu Ling Loyson. He married Lily Loyson,
on May 8th,1955, and had a loving daughter, Tracy. He immigrated to Canada in 1969, seeking a better life and new opportunities. His journey and determination led to a fulfilling and prosperous life building a legacy of love and dedication to his family. This is where he found his first employment at Japan Camera in sales, where he quickly picked up his knowledge of cameras and photography. He then moved on and retired at Tim Horton’s where he was admired and sought out by many for his charisma and positive attitude.
Norman was a connoisseur of jazz and music and found joy in the rhythms and melodies that filled the
home every weekend creating a warm and inviting atmosphere for the family. He also had a passion for

friends. He and Lily traveled the world and took many cruises to discover all that the world had to offer,
while creating lasting memories. He also loved to take daily walks always greeting people along the way
with a smile and hello. Norman touched so many people’s lives, with his friendliness, generosity and
