With sadness we announce the passing of our loving mom and Nana, creator of beautiful gardens. She will be so dearly missed by her children and their spouses (Bill and Laura, Wendy and Leif, Margaret and Gary and John and Brenda), her grandchildren and their partners (Duncan and Emma, Simon and Phoebe, Meredith, Will and Lauren, Abby, Emily, Tess, Josh, Andrew and James) and her great-grandson Perrin. Predeceased by her husband Dr. William Awrey, her parents Willie and Jean Liddell, and her sister Isabel Lowe.
Mom was a graduate of the General Hospital Nursing Class of 1961 and a past member of Glendale Golf and Country Club. She was an avid reader, gardener and spoiler of grandchildren. We were so proud of and adored our beautiful mom.
The family would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to Dr. Ayeni and nurses Clarissa and Rachael for their compassionate care. We are forever grateful to Ann Paterson whose dedication, expertise and love carried us all through this journey.
Friends and family are invited to celebrate Marion’s life on Saturday June 8th from 1-4pm in her beautiful garden.
