Donald Pickett Obituary
It is with heavy hearts the family of Donald George Pickett (Chuck) announce his
passing at his home on Sunday June 2, 2024. Born in Saint John NB on August 29,
1968, he was the son of Phyllis Pickett and predeceased by his father Murray Pickett.
Chuck will be deeply missed by his loving family; his son Nicholas Pickett (Jayme) of
Tennessee, and daughter Alexandra White (Cody) of Tennessee. His grand children
Addy, Leo, Nash, Nate, and Landen. He will be deeply missed by his sister Irene
Dempster (Jim), his special nephews Michael, Richard, and Jamie Pickett, his good
friends Mark Colwell, Kevin and Tabitha Kilpatrick and Joan Weir.
Chuck held down several jobs throughout his working career, most recent his
maintenance position of the apartment complex he was living in and loved working with
his hands. He was always there to help family and friends. He enjoyed doing a lot of
things outdoors like fishing with his best friend Mark, camping behind his parents’ place
with his close friends Kevin and Tabitha, helping his close friend Joan at her camp in St.
Martin’s, hanging out in his back yard doing gardening, BBQing, and campfires with
family and friends, and playing washer toss and cornhole (which he built himself).
Arrangements are under the care of Fundy Funeral Home 230 Westmorland Road.
Visitation will take place Wednesday June 5, 2024, at Fundy Funeral Home from 2-4pm
and 6-8pm. At this time there will be no Funeral or Interment. Donations in memory of
Donald (Chuck) can me made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
The family has decided to do a Celebration BBQ in honor of Chuck at his residence on
Saturday, June 8th at 3PM.
