“Rea” Robar passed away at the Brockville General Hospital on April 20, 2024, at
the age of 51. Rea died of brain cancer a year and half after her diagnosis.
Rea is survived by her 2 children, Steivan Robar and Ruth (Melanie) Robar.
Rea was a wonderful artist and filled the family home with beautiful portraits,
pastel paintings, and sculptures spanning many mediums and genres.
She was compassionate, caring, had a great sense of humour, was full of life and
was always willing to help others in their time if need.
Rebeckah touched many lives and made a significant impact in her community.
She volunteered with Scouts Canada for over ten years; the Beaver Colony will
miss “Bubbles”.
Her family is grateful for the care provided by the Brockville and District Hospital
Palliative Care Service, Kingston General Hospital and Sunnybrook Hospital.
As Rea requested, cremation has taken place and there will be no funeral service.
A celebration of life will be held Wednesday, June 12, 2024 from 4:00 to 5:30 pm
at the Irvine Funeral Home (4 James Street, Brockville, ON).
As expressions of sympathy, the family would appreciate donations to the
Canadian Cancer Foundation or Brockville Scouts.
