Portage, NB – Françoise Poirier, 82, passed away peacefully at the Moncton Hospital, on Monday, February 13, 2023.
Born in Montreal, QC, she was the daughter of the late Georges DeLaplante and late Marie-Marthe Daigneault.
Françoise will be sadly missed by her daughters: Ginette Gimatov of BC, Line Bourque (Philip) of Portage and Danielle Bursey (Todd) of Moncton; her grandchildren: Marilyn and Michelle, Viktoria and Viktor Gimatov, Ismael Bourque, Chad and Ryan Bursey; her sisters: Michelle Daganbach (late Norbert) and Madeleine Dumont (Gaetan) both of Montreal, QC; also by several nieces and nephews.
Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her husband: Donald F. X. Poirier and her son: Joseph Cholette.
As per request, there will be no visitation. A private celebration of life will be held at a later date.
A donation in her memory can be made to the Friends of the Moncton Hospital Foundation (Oncology).
