With broken hearts we announce the peaceful passing of Delores Panek, at home, on May 28, 2024 at the age of 87. Reunited with her loving husband and soulmate of 64 years Ted (2021). Cherished mother of Susan Delaney (Tad), Michael (2019) (Shirley), Jill Lucier (Michael), Renée Repko (2019) (Michael), Jeff (Bonnie), Leanne Renard (Phillip). Loving mémé to 14 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. Dear sister to Florence Jenkins (2005), Bernadette Lanoue and Bernard “Bud” Pilotte (1958). Delores will be sadly missed by her extended family and friends.
Delores was a Registered Nurse for over 40 years, working in many different departments at Hotel Dieu, Windsor Regional and private offices. She was an accomplished artist, showcasing her oil paintings in galleries and shows. She enjoyed gardening, knitting and reading.
If you so desire, memorial donations to Hospice of Windsor would be appreciated by the family.
Visitation will be held Sunday June 2, 2024 from 2-5pm with parish prayers at FAMILIES FIRST 1065 LAUZON RD. East Windsor, 519-969-5841.
Visitation will resume Monday June 3, 2024 at Ste Anne’s Church (12233 Tecumseh Road E.) from 10:30am until Mass of Christian Burial at 11:30am. Cremation and private family interment to follow.
