It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that the family of Blaine Alexander Hawkins of Lincoln announces his peaceful passing on Monday, May 27, 2024 at Hospice Fredericton NB after a courageous battle with cancer. Blaine was born December 2, 1946, he was a son of the late Gordon and Elinor Hawkins of Douglas, NB.

He was so proud of his two great granddaughters, Charlie Hawkins of Geary and Isabelle Thebeau of Burtts Corner. He was so looking forward to adding another great granddaughter to our family due in June. Blaine is also survived by his brother, Selwyn Hawkins (Anette) of Falcon Bridge, ON.
Besides his parents, Blaine was predeceased by his brother, Alvin Hawkins and sister, Leila Coburn.
Blaine worked at NB Power Service Centre for over 20 years. He enjoyed bowling and he bowled a number of years on the New Brunswick Power League. Later in life he tried his hand at golf and enjoyed it very much golfing with golf buddies.
The family would like to thank Extra Mural (Shelly) for all her help. Special thanks to the wonderful amazing nurses and staff at Hospice House. You are truly angels. The care, compassion and concern shown to Blaine and the family was truly appreciated.
