Lorne’s Obituary
Passed peacefully away at Pte. Josiah Squibb Memorial Pavillion, Carbonear with his wife by his side, on May 21, 2024, Lorne Cyncora of Winterton, formerly of Montreal, age 79 years.
Predeceased by parents: Joseph and Adele Cyncora; sister: Mary Bernard; father-in-law: Thomas Walker Sr.; brothers-in-law: Eugene Walker and Tommy Walker.
Leaving to mourn, his loving wife of 28 years: Mabel; step-daughter: Miriam Shannon Somers & Francois Legare; brothers: Frank (Joanne); brothers-in-law: Ernest, George, Edgar, and Ray Walker; also a large number of other relatives and friends.
Lorne worked for General Motors in Boisbriand, PQ for 33 years. He enjoyed bowling and golf. He was a big fan of the Montreal Canadiens. In later years, his favourite pasttime was working with wood.
Visitation at Green’s Funeral Home on Thursday, May 21 from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., 1:30 to 2:00 p.m.
Interment at St Luke’s Anglican Cemetery, Winterton.
