Ella May Jackson Obituary
Ella May Jackson, age 97, of Stratford passed away peacefully on Sunday, May 26, 2024 at the Stratford General Hospital. Born in Stratford, daughter of the late Laura (nee Burdett) and Cecil Jackson.
Survived by Tom and Thea Jackson (cousins) and Cecilia Jackson (cousin) and numerous cousins from California to the United States East Coast. She was the eldest of the Jackson family.
She will be sadly missed by her dear friend Anne Vos, and all those that knew her.
A lifelong resident of Stratford, Ella worked at Stratford General Hospital for many years, retiring from the hospital as did her father years earlier.
A special Thank You to the Doctors and Staff at the Stratford General Hospital for the exemplary care and commitment to Ella during her stay there.
Visitation at the W. G. Young Funeral Home, 430 Huron Street, Stratford on Tuesday, June 4 from 10 am until the time of the memorial service at 11 am. Interment in Avondale Cemetery following the reception in the funeral home reception center.
