Obituary
It is with great sadness, we announce Muriel Elizabeth Huelin (nee Day) passed away peaceful at her residence at the age of 82.
Born on April 25, 1942, she was raised in Stewiacke, NS by her foster parents, Alice Kempt and Margaret and Walter ‘Dee’ Kelly, along with her sisters, Helen, Lydia and Margaret Marie. She spent her late teenage years with their uncle and aunt, George and Marg, Curtis, and cousin, Bernie Curtis (Lynette).
Muriel was predeceased by her husband Arthur; foster parents, Alice, and Margaret and Walter; her aunt and uncle George and Marg; sisters, Helen McCormick and Margaret Marie Rogers.
With loving memories, she leaves to mourn, her sister; Lydia, brother in law Gerald, nieces; Donna and two children, Suzanne (David) and two children; her beloved cat Fluffy as well as her dear friends; Marilyn Green, Calvin Billard and Con Dicks. Muriel also leaves behind her dedicated and caring home-care workers, Alicia Renouf and Haley Budgell.
Muriel worked at Canada Post for many years. She was a very social woman who travelled over the world because of her passion for Bowling.
In keeping with Muriel’s wishes, cremation has taken place. Inurnment will take place at a later date.
