The family announces with great sorrow his sudden passing at home on Friday, May 17, 2024, at the age of 34.
Kory will forever remain in the hearts of his mother Betty Naveau (Gil) and father Morris Wheesk (Lindsey). Dear brother of Johnathan, Leiland (Mary), Landen, Mason, Wyatt, Tyson, Simeon, Dakota, Theresa and Nakita.
He leaves behind his grandmothers Nancy and Annie as well as Deidra, Dane, Beesym, and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins across turtle island.He will be greatly missed by numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Predeceased by his grandfathers Roy and John and by his sister Peiton.
Funeral arrangements are entrusted to LESSARD Funeral and Cremation Centre. The family will receive friends on Sunday May 26, 2024, beginning at 12 p.m. (noon) in the Mattagami First Nation Community Complex. Funeral service will be held on Monday, May 27, 2024, at 11 a.m. in the Mattagami First Nation Community Complex. Interment will take place at the Mattagami First Nation Cemetery followed by a traditional feast. Remembrance donations to the Canadian Mental Health Association (CMHA) or Sports for Kids Timmins would be greatly appreciated.
