1949-2024
Following a brief illness, Pat Garnett of Rowena, NB, passed away at
the Upper River Valley Hospital on May 20, 2024.
Pat was born in Perth-Andover, NB, on June 5, 1949. She was the
daughter of the late Francis and Imelda (Cassista) Murchison. Pat
leaves behind her loving husband of 54 years, David Garnett; her sons,
Andrew Garnett (Dayna Hanson) of Woodstock, NB, Mark Garnett (Angela)
of Fredericton, NB; her grandchildren, Aiden, Luke, Andrew, Emma,
Kameran, Kaden, and Sadie; her sisters, Theresa McAllister (Dean) of
Perth-Andover, NB, and Susan Davenport (Dana) of Bairdsville, NB; her
brothers, Michael Murchison (Gail) of Barrhead, AB, Tony Murchison
(Elizabeth) of Aroostook, NB, and Robert Murchison (Loralee) of Upper
Knoxford, NB; along with several nieces and nephews.
Pat is predeceased by her parents; her baby sister, Margaret
Murchison; and her brother, Fraser Murchison.
Respecting Pat’s wishes, there will be no visitation or funeral held.
A private family graveside service will be held at the Presbyterian
Rural Cemetery.
For those who wish, memorial donations to the Southern Victoria Cancer
Assistance Fund would be appreciated by the family.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Brunswick Funeral Home,
Perth-Andover, NB.
