It is with sadness that I announce the passing of my dearest
husband Rick Davis.
His sudden illness came to a peaceful end on Saturday, May
18, 2024 at the Fredericton Hospice. Respectful of
Rick’s very specific instructions; there is to be no service
and He will be cremated.
I know I speak on Rick’s behalf when I express
heartfelt gratitude to the nurses, doctors & staff in
Extra Mural and Hospice Care; and especially to our practitioner Dr.
Gonzalez and his wonderful staff at the Stanley
Clinic.
Rick has come to love our rural life here in New Brunswick.
He enjoyed his retirement, our comfortable log home, 8 acres,
and our brook. Rick found joy in creating and working on
the property and loved working in the woods with our
neighbors Garney, Dave, Marty and Monte….cutting
wood in the summer & tapping maple trees in the
winter.
He, and his wonderful sense of humor will be missed by his
brother, Gary & Louise and brother, Dan &
Bill and their entire families.
All of my family; including Jesse, Bev, Mike MacAleer and
their families. By his step-daughter Cindy, and her two girls
MacKenzie & Riley (Emma)
“Through the special gifts God gave you, from your kind
heart to your generous spirit….you’re
a blessing to our family and everyone who knows you, and we
love you Rick”.
I would like to take this opportunity to express my
condolences to every life that Rick touched.
Many friends from Centennial College and our Helpful and
Caring neighbors in Williamsburg and Stanley, New Brunswick.
Never gone, ever present, in all of our hearts. Never more than
in my heart, for being blessed to be his wife,
Sandy
