It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Linda M. Jonasson (McRae) on May 14, 2024 in the early morning, she was 76 years of age. Linda passed away peacefully in the presence of her loving family.
She will be greatly missed by all those who knew and loved her. Linda was predeceased by her parents Agnes and Frank McRae, as well as her beloved husband Harold Thorstein Jonasson (2022) and sister Jean M. Outhwaite. Linda was born in Wellwood, Manitoba on September 18, 1947. She was the oldest of three sisters. Jean (2016) and Bonnie. Linda and Harold married on November 13, 1971 in Winnipeg, Manitoba where they raised their two sons together. Linda had a long career at Cancer Care Manitoba which she enjoyed until she retired.
She had so many loved ones in her life, she will be greatly missed by all of her grandchildren, brother and sister in-laws, nieces, nephews, great grandchild, cousins, and many friends.
A memorial will be held at a later date.
