It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Sandra Searson (Kasdorff), peacefully at Hospice Renfrew on Tuesday, May 14, 2024 at the age of 71.
Born August 11, 1952, Sandra was the daughter of the late Albert and Julia Kasdorff. Sandra is survived by her loving husband, Dan Searson. She will be deeply missed by her seven sisters; Marian (Robert Zohr), Margaret (Ken Roberge), Mary (Jerry Lepine), Jeanne (the late Gary Ranger), Valerie, Debbie (Jay Foran) and Norah. Sandra will be fondly remembered by her many nieces and nephews, as well as great nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her brothers; Robert and Bill Kasdorff, as well as her father and mother-in-law, Harry and Mary Searson.
Sandra had a love of gardening, and could often be seen working in her flower beds with her beloved “goldie” Mick by her side. She also spent much of the summer helping to manage Kasdorff’s Cottages along side her sisters, with whom she had such a special bond. She will be remembered for her generosity and wonderful sense of humour.
Professional services have been entrusted to Zohr Family Funeral Home, Eganville. The will be a funeral service at St. James the Less Catholic Church on Friday May 17, 2024 at 11am followed by interment in the parish cemetery.
In Sandra’s memory donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation, S.P.C.A., Hospice Renfrew or the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated.
