Thead Seaman passed away peacefully on February 11, 2023 forever 71. Son of the late Allen and Evelyn Seaman. Dear Brother to the late Joanne Brownrigg of Brea, California, Ron (Mary) Seaman of Southampton, and Brother-in-law to Jim Brownrigg of Brea, California. Proud Uncle to Scott (Paulette) Brownrigg of Anaheim Hills, California, Mark (Jessica) Brownrigg of Yorba Linda, California, Jill (Shawn) MacDonald and Derek (Amanda) Seaman of Southampton. Great Uncle to Justin, Alyssa, Chase and Kylie Brownrigg, Lauren and Caitlin MacDonald and Bradley and Cole Seaman. Fondly remembered by long time best friend, Bill Ste Marie.
Thead served as town council for the Town of Southampton from 1992-1998 and for the town of Saugeen Shores from 1999-2014. He was volunteer fire fighter from 1976-2001.
Visitation at the Eagleson Funeral Home, Southampton on Wednesday February 15, 2023 from 4 – 6:30 p.m. St. Lawrence Lodge #131 will conduct a Masonic Service at 6:30 p.m. A Service to Honour Thead Seaman will be held in the Chapel of the funeral home on Thursday at 2 p.m. Spring interment at Southampton Cemetery.
If desired, memorial donations may be made to the Friends of the Flag, Southampton or to the Saugeen Memorial Hospital Foundation.
