Arthur Joseph LeBlanc

Age 77 of Lower Wedgeport, passed away on April 27, 2023 at the Yarmouth Regional Hospital, Yarmouth. Born on December 9, 1945 in Yarmouth. He was a son of the late Walter and Adele (Jacquard) LeBlanc.
Arthur is survived by his loving wife, Inez LeBlanc (Doucette) LeBlanc; son, Dwayne J. (Kimberly) LeBlanc; granddaughter, Emily LeBlanc; step-granddaughter, Felicia Warner (Brandon Hayes); step-great granddaughter, Kiersten Hayes. He was predeceased by a son in infancy, Dwayne A. LeBlanc.
Arthur was a fisherman for over 50 years. He was a hard worker. If Arthur wasn’t fishing, he could be found in his workshop or driving around the wharfs. His granddaughter Emily was his pride and joy. To Emily he was “Papa” and he never said no to her. Arthur also did some apple picking in New Hampshire in the 70’s,
Funeral arrangements are under the care and direction of Huskilson’s Funeral Home, Wedgeport. A funeral mass will be held on Monday, May 1, 2023 at 10 a.m. from St. Michael’s Catholic Church, Wedgeport, Fr. Albenie d’Entremont officiating. A visitation will be held from 2-4 and 6-8 on Sunday, April 30, 2023 with prayers ay 7 p.m. in the Wedgeport Funeral Home. Memorial donations in Arthur’s memory may be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association of Nova Scotia or a charity of choice.
