Anne Margaret Vincent Obituary
It is with broken hearts to say, that Anne passed away peacefully after a sudden illness at the High River hospital on May 4, 2024 at the grand age of 92; four months shy of her 93rd birthday.
Anne was born in Calgary and grew up in the Millarville area. She moved to Calgary in 1949, and married her husband, Warren, in 1955. They lived in Calgary until 1993 when they relocated to High River.
Anne always said she lived a great life and felt so blessed to have so many wonderful memories of family and friends. She always had a smile, a kind word, and a twinkle in her eye. Anne’s health had declined in the last couple of years, but she was always stoic and said, “we have to keep putting one foot in front of the other and carry on”. We will miss her immeasurably but feel so blessed for our time with her and now know that she is at peace.
Anne is survived by her son Neil (Pamela); grandsons James (Adrienne), and Shawn (Sarah); daughter Mary Anne (Dan); grandsons Alex and Dillon; and adopted family Pat, Bill and granddaughter Kaylee.
Anne is pre-deceased by her loving husband Warren; parents Bill and Esther; and siblings Murray, Fern, Bob and Linda.
Anne’s Funeral service will be held at the Christ Church Millerville, Highway 549 East, Millarville, Alberta on Friday, June 7, 2024 at 11:00 am.
A reception will be held afterwards at the High River Legion, 25 8 Avenue SE, High River, Alberta.
