Elizabeth “Betty” Karpovich
(March 25, 1934 – May 1, 2024)
Elizabeth “Betty” Karpovich of Daysland, Alberta, passed away on Wednesday, May 1, 2024 at the age of 90 years.
Left to cherish her memory are her husband Gerry Karpovich; children Kevin (Iris) Karpovich, Elvin (Teresa) Karpovich, Bev (John) Niehaus, and Wayne (Kim) Karpovich; five grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren; siblings Ernie (Eleanor) Tulik and Jeanette (Alexander) Pobran; and brothers-in-law Chester Zawada and Michael Spelay.
Betty was predeceased by her parents Mike and Mary Tulik; sisters Nancy (Laurent) LaPerle, Sonya Zawada and Joyce Spelay; and brother Norman (Myrna) Tulik.
A Funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m., Thursday, May 9, 2024 from the Our Lady of the Prairies Roman Catholic Church, 5202 59 St Daysland officiated by Rev. Brian Hunter.
If family and friends so desire, memorial contributions in Elizabeth’s memory may be made to the Daysland Hospital Foundation or a charity of one’s choice.
