Age 83 of Dayton, passed away on January 25, 2023 at Chez Kit, Dayton. Born on January 29, 1939 in Yarmouth, he was the son of the late Ernie and Bessie (Blades) Newell.
Richard was the owner of Newell’s Taxi in Yarmouth.
Richard was the last surviving member of his immediate family. He is survived by his son, George (Catherine) Newell, Rockville; 3 grandchildren.
He is predeceased by his siblings, Billy Newell, Mattie Newell, George Newell, Gordon Newell, Connie Newell, Judy Muise and Barbara Deveau.
Funeral arrangements are under the care and direction of Huskilson’s Funeral Home, Yarmouth. By request there is nothing at the funeral home.
