Stan passed away peacefully at the Northwood Lodge with family by his side at the age of 94. Stan had a true passion for hockey, finding the joy in every game. He was a devoted fan of the Montreal Canadiens throughout his life. Many of his other passions extended to friendly card games and horseshoe matches, where he shared laughter and happiness with loved ones. In his memory, may his love for family, sports and companionship live on. Stan is survived by his Step-children Wayne (Doreen), Bryan (Jan), Sheila, Jerry (Laura) and Glenn (Bev), sister Madeleine, 13 grandchildren as well as numerous great-grandchildren. He is predeceased by his wife Lilia, parents Ernest and Genereuse as well as siblings Rita, Roger, Jerry, Phil and Laurie.
A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, May 7, 2024 at 1:00 pm at the Ear Falls Cemetery with Father Justin Eze officiating. Luncheon will take place following the service at the Ear Falls Royal Canadian Legion.
