Fernande Cyr Obituary
It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of Fernande Marie Cyr on April, 24th, 2024, at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born on May 17th, 1940, to the Late Edward Hébert and Onezie Richard, in Rogersville, New Brunswick. Fernande dedicated her life to her family, finding joy on their company. Fernande had a passion for puzzles, bingo scratch tickets, and cherished moments spent with loved ones. She enjoyed drives and shopping trips, her warmest conversations often shared with her niece, Leucine.
Her memory will forever be cherished by her husband, Dennis Joseph Cyr, her two sons, Raymond (Cheryl) Cyr and Mitch (Angela) Cyr, along with her grandchildren Nathan, Amanda (Scott), Josh (Stephanie), Madison, Jenna and Regan. She also leaves behind great-grandchildren Daxton, Rosalee, Aries, Jericho, Deluca and numerous nieces and nephews. Fernande’s kind smile, caring nature, sharp wit and sense of humor endeared her to family, friends and to all who knew her. Her love for her family and friends was the cornerstone of her life and her absence will be deeply felt by all whose lives she touched.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road, Saint John, NB (506-646-2424). In keeping with Fernande’s wishes there will be no visitation and a Celebration of Life will take place privately with close family.
