Obituary
Lori MacBeth, 70 of Moncton passed away peacefully on Tuesday, February 7, 2023 at The Dr. Georges L. Dumont University Hospital Center after a courageous battle with cancer.
Born in Sus NB, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Georgia (Gregg) Alward.
Lori was a Registered Nurse, with a 50 year career retiring from Corrections Canada at the Dorchester Penitentiary.
Surviving is her daughter Tanya Sweeney; granddaughters Paris LeBlanc and Hannah LeBlanc.
In addition to her parents, Lori was predeceased by her husband Don MacBeth, sons Sean Sweeney and André Maillet, sisters Joyce Hall and Dorothy Wright, brother Frank Alward Jr. and her long-time canine companion Teddy.
A Service to Celebrate and Honor Lori’s life will be held from Fergusons Funeral Home Chapel, 1657 Mountain Rd. Moncton (858-1995) on Sunday, February, 12, 2023 at 2:00 PM, with Pastor Scott Ryder officiating, visiting hours will be Sunday from 1:00 to 2:00 PM. Reception to follow. Spring Interment will be held at Green Hill Cemetery, NB.
