Elizabeth Betty (Travis) Doyle

Elizabeth “Betty” (Travis) Doyle, wife of the late Delbert Doyle, of Miramichi, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, April 24, 2024, at Mount Saint Joseph, at the age of 84.
Born in Warwick, she was the daughter of the late William and Alberta (Tozer) Travis. She worked as an NBTel Operator for 29 years, she worked at Village Inn, and also as a store clerk until her retirement.
Betty was a member of Saint Paul’s Presbyterian Church, in Warwick, and taught Sunday School for many years. She was also a Past Treasurer for the church fund, a member of A.M.S., and a member of Miramichi Hospital Auxiliary.
She will be greatly missed by her brother George Travis (Joyce) of Cassilis; and several nieces and nephews.
Besides her parents and her husband, Delbert, she was predeceased by three sisters Almira Hubbard, Mina Campbell, and Nadine Blakely; and her brother Bill Travis.
Visitation will take place on Friday, April 26, 2024, at Northumberland Funeral Home, from 4 to 8 pm. A graveside service will take place in Boom Road Presbyterian Cemetery at a later date.
As expressions of sympathy, donations may be made to St Paul’s Presbyterian Cemetery Fund.
