Christena Suzanne (Anne) Levac
Christena Suzanne (Anne) Levac (nee Carswell) passed away peacefully on Wednesday, April 17. Anne was predeceased by her husband, Gaëtan Levac (2018) and grand-daughter Lily Rose (2018). She cherished her children, Leah (Jose), Roger (Jody), and Reid (Chelsea); grandchildren (Annabelle, Carswell, Jack, Mahaily, Sebastián); and great-grandchild (Jasper). Anne was predeceased by her parents, Reid and Elizabeth Carswell, older brothers Barry and Blaine, sister-in-law Joan, and nephew, Marc. Anne is survived by two older brothers, Bryan (Francine), Bert (Pat), sister-in-law Marian, and many nieces, nephews, and in-laws. She was a beloved wife, mom, grandma, great-grandma, sister, sister-in-law, aunt, cousin, niece, friend, colleague, community builder, church leader, joke teller, helper, fixer, organizer, athlete, sports lover, soup maker, piano player, grammar police officer, historian, record keeper, problem solver, peacekeeper, storyteller, politician, planner, teacher, administrator, learner, and volunteer. She died surrounded by the same love that flowed from her every day, and by the strong community and family that she built. She will be missed beyond words. The family will receive friends at the Tompkins Funeral Home on Sunday evening from 6:00 – 9:00 pm. Funeral Service will be held from Sandhill Church on Monday April 22 at 2:00 pm. Interment at Sandhill cemetery. A Reception will follow in the church. In lieu of flowers, please consider donating to the charity of your choice in Anne’s honour.
