On Monday, February 6, 2023, Allan David Hains, a beloved father, passed away after a short battle with cancer at the AgeCare SkyPointe Nursing Home, Airdrie, AB, at the age of 63.
Born in Truro, NS, he was the son of the late Joan and Allan Hains.
He is survived by one son Clark of Moncton, NB and former wife Isabelle (Christie) Hains of Bathurst, NB.
Allan has two surviving sisters, Beverley (Hains) Arbec (Paul) of Airdrie, AB and Kimberley Hains (Dave) of Lakefield, ON. Allan is also survived by many nieces and nephews, aunts and cousins.
Besides his parents Allan is predeceased by his infant son Derek and son Daniel, age 17.
Allan graduated from Bathurst High School and started working after graduation at the age of 17, for the Bathurst Pulp and Paper Mill. He remained there for 30 years until the mill shut down in 2005. In 2008, Allan started working for Canadian Natural Resources Limited in Fort McMurray, AB until his passing.
Allan will be sadly missed by everyone that knew and cared for him.
A graveside memorial service will be held on Friday, June 30th at 2 p.m. from Holy Family Cemetery, St. Peter Avenue.
