Leaving to mourn, loving wife of 59 years: Greta; daughter: Tanya (Anthony), Edmonton AB; son: Ian (Jennifer), Carbonear; daughter-in-law: Marlene, South River; three grandchildren: Adam (Nicky), Molly, and Tuhron; great-grandchild: Briar; two brothers: Cecil (Beatrice-deceased) and Melvin (Marjorie-deceased); two sisters: Joyce (Jim-deceased) Crowley and Vicki (Robert-deceased) Thorne; sisters-in-law: Clara, Cathy, Audrey, Nellie, Ina, Norma, Ruby, and Maxine; brothers-in-law : Max and Stuart; also a large number of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Visitation at Noel’s Funeral Home, Water Street, Carbonear on Tuesday, April 16 from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m., Wednesday, April 17 from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m., 7:00 to 9:00 p.m., Thursday, April 18 from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m.
Funeral service to take place on Thursday, April 18 at 2:00 p.m. from Bethany United Church, Carbonear.
Interment in the Interfaith Cemetery, Carbonear.
In lieu of flowers, as an expression of sympathy, donations in his memory may be made to Daffodil Place, 70 Ropwalk Lane, St. John’s, NL, A1E 5T2.
