Ellen Selina Power (nee Pretty) of marysvale (age 95) passed peacefully away at her home surrounded by her loving family on April 13, 2024.
Predeceased by her loving husband James Power, mother and Father Ellen (Peddle) And James Pretty, Brother Don, Sisters Elizebeth, Ida, Agnes, Lucy, Suzane, Josephine, Viola and Sarah and all their families. Also her Son-in-Law Dave Barry and all members of the Power Family.
Left with broken hearts are her 12 children: Mary (Dave deceased), Frank (Cindy), Don (Connie), Ed (Carolyn), Jimmy, Ann Marie (Len), Karen (Randy), Helen (Barry), Lorraine (Glen), Doug (Agnes), Corina (Roy) And Ida.
Her 22 grandchildren Tracie, David, Kelly, Raymond, Danielle, Amy, Amanda, Grace, Faith, Cory, Matthew, Holly, Emma, Josh, Jesse, Nicholas, Hailey, Jamie, Selena, Julie, Ethan and Logan.
Her 12 great-children Shania, Nathan, Noah, Ryder, Finley, Joy, Kobe, Maisie, Sonny, Elise, Stephen, and Jacob.
Her Special Sister-in-law Bride Power and her Mahers family who loved so dearly.
Special thank you to her daughter’s and daughter-in-law Carolyn, Jackie and Alicia who provided such tender and loving care.
Also a special thank you to Dr. Ramjohn and Father Al for many home visits. As well As the staff of the Baccileau Trail Pharmacy, her home care nurse Katie, and Broughtons Ambulance Service
She will be eternally missed as heaven has gained the most precious Angel.
Visitation: Monday April 15, 2024 from 12-9pm and Tuesday April 16, 2024 from 10am-9pm.
Funeral service to be held at Our Lady of the Snows Church, Marysvale on Wednesday, April 17, 2024 at 1pm.
Internment to follow at the RC Cemetery, Brigus.
Flowers gratefully accepted or a donation to the Alzheimer’s Association for Dementia research.
