Eleanor A. Lambert (nee Wilson) Obituary
Passed peacefully into the arms of Jesus, in her 91st year, with her family by her side, at CAMA Woodlands on April 13, 2024. Reunited with her husband Bill (2004). Eleanor was born in Parkhill, the youngest of 4. Survived by sister Ruth (late Jimmie Johnson) and predeceased by sister Frances (husband Cliff) and brother Jim (wife Ann). Eleanor was a long-time employee of the CIBC, starting in her teens as a way to help support her parents and the family farm. Her love for her family was only second to her love for her Lord and Saviour. She was a prayer warrior until dementia took her memories but not her spirit. She is the loving mother of Janet Pryde (Tom), Diane Lambert-Slagter (Rodney) and Doug Lambert (Janet). Grandma to Brandi (Craig), Jessica (Ben), Tyler, Ryan, Lauren (Athneil), Melani (Stephen) and Joel. Great-grandma to Luke, Noah, Kaiden, Blayze-Thomas, Paisley, Luna, Amina, Gabriel and Elijah. Thank you cannot begin to express our sincere gratitude for the care mom received over the last 7+ years at CAMA Woodlands.
Friends may visit with the family at KITCHING, STEEPE & LUDWIG FUNERAL HOME, 146 Mill St. N., Waterdown on Thursday, April 18, 2024 from 12 noon until the start of the Funeral Service at 1 p.m. Interment Garden Lane Cemetery followed with a reception in the Funeral Home Family Centre. Reverend Sharlene Henderson officiating. Any donations to the CAMA Woodlands Wish fund would be greatly appreciated. Please sign the Tribute Wall.
