After a courageous battle, on Monday, April 8, 2024, in his ninety-fourth year. Loving and devoted husband of Bernice for sixty-five years. Beloved father and father-in-law of Robert and Randi Mendelsohn, Peter and Joanna Mendelsohn, and Ronda and Steven Lubov. Proud Zaidy of Samuel, Seth, Lexie, Jordanna, Noah, Shayne, and Lauren. Predeceased by his siblings, Harry, Benny, Libby, and Bertha. Mervyn will be greatly missed by his family, friends, and all those who knew him because knowing him was loving him. Special thanks to the doctors, nurses, and staff at the Jewish General Hospital for their incredible care and compassion. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean Talon St. W., on Thursday, April 11 at 12:00 noon. Burial at the Chevra Kadisha B’nai Jacob Congregation Section, Kehal Israel Cemetery, D.D.O.
