It is with heavy hearts that we say goodbye to Waldemar (Wally) Brant at 86 years of age. Wally spent 35 years in the Royal Canadian Navy serving his country. He was a communicator, Submariner, navigator, pilot, and Operations Officer. After he retired, he took on a roll with his wife as a live blood analyst and spent 20 years assisting her in her health care practice. He will be sadly missed by his devoted wife Betty, his sons Micheal and Roddy and his wife Cathy and grandchildren Christopher and Brianna. Wally will also be missed by his in-laws Bunty Johnson, Trish and Bill Lyons and Bill Calway. Wally also had many nieces and nephews who will miss him and his great stories. His other loves in life were golfing and puttering around the house, building things along with visiting many friends. Wally passed away peacefully on Friday April 5th ,2024 at the West Parry Sound Health Centre. Many thanks to the staff of the hospital for all of their great care. Cremation entrusted to the Torrance Funeral Home (89 Bowes St. Parry Sound). We ask that Donations go to Wally’s 2 charities that he has support for many years. Operation Smile and the SPCA. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
