It is with broken hearts that the family of the late George Walsh of Parker’s Cove announces his sudden passing. George passed away at his home in Parker’s Cove on Monday, April 8, 2024 at the age of 61.
Leaving to mourn with a lifetime of wonderful memories are his sisters, Regina Johnson (Doug Pelley) of Paradise and Louise Walsh of Parker’s Cove; nephew, Matthew Johnson (Kathleen) of Paradise; nieces, Noel Walsh of Parker’s Cove and Kimberley Johnson (Steven Lannon) of Nova Scotia; great-nephew, Liam Lannon; aunt, Anna Moores (Cline) of Stephenville; uncle, David Moores (Clara) of Norman’s Cove; plus a large circle of extended family and friends.
George was predeceased by his parents, William & Ellen Walsh; grandparents, Peter & Irene Moores and Patrick & Elizabeth Walsh; and a number of aunts and uncles.
The Walsh Family will be accepting visitors at Our Lady of Lourdes Roman Catholic Church, Parker’s Cove on:
Tuesday, April 9th
1pm – 9pm
Wednesday, April 10th
10am – 1pm
Mass of Christian Burial will take place at at Our Lady of Lourdes Roman Catholic Church, Parker’s Cove on:
Wednesday, April 10th at 2pm.
Interment to follow at Our Lady of Lourdes Roman Catholic Cemetery, Parker’s Cove.
In George’s memory, in-lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Family.
