It is with great sadness that the family of Harold Petten announce his passing on Friday, April 5, 2024, at the Corner Brook Long Term Care Home 3rd Floor at the age of 81 years.
Predeceased by his wife: Margaret (2010); parents: Charles and Mary Petten; Step-mother: Gert Petten; sister: Ina Bishop (Reg); great-granddaughter: Saylor Petten; and nephew: Tony Bishop.
He leaves to mourn his children: Charles (Lori), Jeffrey (Janice), Terry (Louise), Mike (Michelle); grandchildren: Jeffrey Petten (Stephanie), Nikki Leroy (Brian), Meghan Petten (Devin), Jonathan Petten (Skyler), David Dove, Sarah Dove (John), Stephanie Boland (John), Andrew Boland, and Abigail Power-Petten; 12 great-grandchildren; as well as a number of relatives and friends.
Visitations will take place at Fillatre’s Funeral Home, 4 St. Mark’s Avenue on Monday, April 8, 2024 from the hours of 2-4 & 7-9pm. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, April 9, 2024 at 2:00pm from Fillatre’s Funeral Home Chapel. Interment to follow at Mount Patricia Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Heart and Stroke Foundation.
