It is with heavy hearts that the family of Stan Skalba announces his passing at the age of 95.
Stan was born in Pagorzyna, Poland on August 15,1928 to Andrzej Skalba (predeceased) and Maria Skalba (predeceased). Loving brother to Jan, Czeslaw (predeceased), Alexsander (predeceased) and Genowefa.
Stan survived the 2nd World War and immigrated to Canada in 1945 where he built a successful business in Marmora, ON. He very much enjoyed the outdoors, cutting wood or just spending time on his property.
Stan leaves behind Sharon, his life partner for over 40 years. Stan also leaves behind Linda (predeceased) (Kevin), Diana (Bob), Dennis (Merle), Susie, Mike (Melissa), Penny (Rod) Debbie (Dean), Deanna (Brad), Jessica, Devin (Rylee), Nina, Stan as well as his many nieces, nephews, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
The family would also like to acknowledge and send a heartfelt thank you to the staff at Campbellford Memorial Hospital.
Arrangements entrusted to Rushnell Funeral Home – Marmora (9 Bursthall St., Marmora, ON).
A Funeral Mass will be held on Thursday May 9, 2024 at 10:30am at Sacred Heart of Jesus Church (38 Bursthall St. Marmora, ON).
