October 5th 1958 – February 5th 2023
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Mrs. Cynthia Fox Gajusingh, on February 5, 2023, at the age of 64.
Cindy was the beloved wife of Harry Gajusingh for 45 years, and the cherished mother of Alvin (Lisa) and Kelvin. She was the devoted Nanny of Khloe (Kelvin), Alyssa, Serena, Matthew and Emily (Alvin). She will be deeply missed by her sisters; Kathy (John), Linda (Ralph), Debbie (Robert), and her brothers Thomas, Glenn, Frankie and Gary. She will also be missed by her many nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, many extended relatives, in-laws, and many friends.
She is predeceased by her father Thomas Fox, her mother Mary Morell, her eldest sister Brigitte, her brother in-law Claude and her sister in-law Buffy.
She was one of a kind, and she always put everyone else before herself, right up until the very end. She fought bravely with the utmost strength and grace in her battle with cancer. She fought until she could not fight anymore. Even when she was suffering, she never complained, and she found peace in making sure everyone else around her was alright and taken care of. We will always remember her beautiful smile and voice, that could make any situation feel better. With her, she takes all our love on her journey ahead. She is now in the embrace of her family gone too soon before her, until we meet again. We will forever hold her in our hearts.
Our family will receive condolences on Sunday, February 12, 2023 from 1 pm to 5 pm at:
Complexe Funéraires Yves Légaré, located at 14730 Boul Pierrefonds, Pierrefonds.
A service will be held at 5:00 pm in the chapel of the complex.
We would like to extend our thanks to the oncology staff (Sabrina, Tina and Kim) at the lakeshore hospital, for their gentle, and compassionate care toward her. She truly needed that, and they delivered. Eternally, thank you.
Our family would also like to extend our gratitude to the doctors and nurses at the Teresa Dellar Palliative Care Residence for their wonderful support and care. She was very well taken care of, we were as well, and she was given a beautiful farewell. For that, we will always be grateful.
In lieu of flowers, a donation to the Foundation of Teresa Dellar Palliative Care Residence would be greatly appreciated.
Our most sincere sympathies to the family and friends of Cynthia Gajusingh 1958- 2023..
