God called Joaquim, peacefully on March 31, 2024, at the age of 90. He will be forever missed by his loving wife, children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. He will be held dear in the hearts of his family, relatives, and many friends in Canada and Portugal. If so desired, donations in memory of Joaquim may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
Visitations will take place at the Vescio Funeral Home “Toronto” Chapel (2080 Dufferin St. 416-656-3332) on Thursday, April 4th, 2024, from 2-4 and 6-9 p.m.. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday, April 5th, 2024, at 9:30 at St. Anthony’s Roman Catholic Church. (1037 Bloor St. West, Toronto, Ontario). Interment to follow at Sanctuary Park Cemetery (1570 Royal York Rd, Etobicoke, ON, M9P 3C4).
