Suddenly on Sunday, March 31, 2024, Velma Meldrum at the age of 88. Loving wife of the late Maynard Meldrum. Cherished mother of Carl, Shirley (Ron Delaney) and Kelly (Gregory King). Proud grandmother of Brook, Chelsea, Nicholas, Kyle (Kelly), Matthew (Greg) and Zachary (Nicole) and great-grandmother of Kendall, Ava, Otis and Evelyn. Sister to Barbara Stanley (Michel Thibodeau) and the late Earl (late Nancy) Gordon, Helen (late Douglas Stewart), Clifford and Walter (late Korrie). Fondly remembered by many nieces, nephews, friends and the Meldrum family. Daughter of the late Russell and Lena Hoy. Family and friends are invited to pay their respects at a Graveside Service on Friday April 5 at 11 am at Reid’s Mills Cemetery, 6051 Belmeade Rd. Osgoode.
